Question: If a Non-Code material is used for non-pressure parts & is joined to a Code material by a welding procedure qualified in accordance with Section IX, may other heats of the same Non-Code material which conform to specification requirements of the material used during the Welding Procedure Qualification be joined to the Code material thereafter for such non-pressure applications without performing the chemical and mechanical tests required by UG-10 or the bend tests of UG-5 on each piece of material?
