Question: A liquid penetrant is classified as both water-washable & solvent-removable by it’s manufacturer. Does Section V, Article 6, para. T-673 permit removal of such excess penetrant with a water spray & subsequent during the same examination by lightly wiping the surface with a cloth or absorbent paper moistened with solvent?
