A pressure retaining part (e.g., tubesheet) is to be weld metal overlay clad (clad) by a subcontractor for supply to a Manufacturer. The thickness of the cladding may or may not be included in the design calculations, and the clad part does not fall within the scope of UG-11 because rules for the design and fabrication of the pressure retaining part are provided in Section VIII, Division 1.
